Josie Johnston finishes 12th at the state championships in javelin with a throw of 29.81 meters (97’ 9”), and Taitlyn Madison finishes 15th in the triple jumps with a 9.23 meter effort (30’ 3 1/2”).

Annalee Gardner is a 2-time state pole vault champion with a vault of 3.53 meters (11’ 7”)!

The 4x400 relay team of Mason Diehl, Xavier Wisdom, Dylan Davidson, and Jake Chandler finish in 15th place with a time of 3:41.

Special shout-out to Mason Diehl who finishes his Butler Bear career with an all-state award his junior year. Thank you, Mason, for your dedication!

After having to rerun the 110m Hurdles because of incorrectly set hurdles, Dylan Davidson has qualified for the finals tomorrow at the state championship!

Congratulations to Josie Johnston for finishing 4th in the Class 2 discus at the state championships with a throw of 36.84 meters (120’ 10”)! She ends her career as a Butler Bear as a 2-time all-stater in the discus and owns the school record in both discus and javelin!

LET’S GO…to state, that is! Girls finished in second place of 26 teams; at sectionals today, boys seventh of 27! Bears qualify in 9 different events with 11 PRs set, two sectional champs crowned, and two school records set! Results below!

Bears qualified 23 medal winners in 20 different events from the Class 2 District 8 meet in Adrian Saturday! That includes 5 district champions, and yet another school record fell! Results of all point scorers and sectional qualifiers below!
