@IRCTCofficial I fail to understand what is the challenge in refunding when you clearly know a waitlisted passenger CANNOT travel. Give them back their money without making them run around. Already no confirmation stresses us because we need to make alternate arrangements.

@IRCTCofficial In this digital era, refund rules are so archaic, cumbersome, and punishing. I eagerly wait for the day when you can please return the money paid by a citizen for which you could not provide the service. I sincerely believe the burden of repayment is on the govt. and not citizen.

@blrcitytraffic @CMofKarnataka Roads are so bad, 2 wheeler understandably drive tentatively, 3 wheeler that needs to evade a pothole look as if they are driving erratically, 4 wheelers appear rash as they speedup in available space, trucks just cannot pull through and all this leads to traffic pileup/jams

One end plagued by Ejipura flyover mess
Left lane occupied by waiting cabs, autos, hawkers
Near to Inner lane the road has deteriorated
The remaining limited drivable part is full of potholes.

A tragic helicopter crash near the Kedarnath shrine in Uttarakhand on Sunday morning, June 15, claimed the lives of all seven people on board, including six pilgrims and the pilot. The incident occurred around 5:30 AM, shortly after the chopper took off from Kedarnath en route to Guptkashi.

The helicopter, operated by Aryan Aviation Pvt Ltd, went down in the dense forests above Gaurikund, reportedly due to poor visibility and inclement weather. The aircraft subsequently caught fire after impact. According to Rudraprayag District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Singh Rajwar, the crash site is situated between Gaurikund and Trijuginarayan in the Kedarghati region.

Sonika, CEO of the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA), confirmed that the helicopter had gone off the radar shortly after departure, and later reports confirmed it had crashed. Teams from State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) were promptly dispatched and are currently engaged in challenging rescue and recovery operations due to the rugged and forested terrain.

The deceased included five adult pilgrims, a 23-month-old child, and pilot Rajeev, said Rahul Chaubey, Nodal Officer for Heli/Tourism. He added that the pilot attempted to divert the helicopter from the valley but was unsuccessful due to the extreme weather conditions.
