🚨 A Tennessee Sheriff is making the right move against Flock

Loudon County Sheriff Jimmy Davis held a public meeting on 8/16 in regards to a possible countywide Flock rollout. When the moderator asked who in the room wanted the cameras, not a single hand went up. When they asked who didn’t want them, the entire room raised their hands.

Davis didn’t sugarcoat it. He called the cameras “probably the most technically advanced tool to solve crimes since DNA,” then immediately followed with the part that matters: “but it really doesn’t matter if it violates the rights.”

He already has the approval to install them. He’s still choosing not to. Said the cost to personal freedom is just too high. His assistant chief deputy backed him up, saying the worst statement in the world is “if you have nothing to hide you shouldn’t be worried about it.”

The sheriff’s office itself isn’t running any Flock cameras. The only ones already in the county belong to the city departments in Loudon and Lenoir City.

East Tennessee keeps pushing back.
