@Shela_istaken @TwinkTheory Exactly. They don’t do anything and then a parent passes away and suddently the siblings are having to take over and often don’t know full information about their care needs because they haven’t lived at home in 20 years and it causes complications

@stlbf @TwinkTheory That’s awful. Group and fosters homes are fantastic. I work as a caregiver in a home and they get to live their own life as an adult and have routines and friends and outings it’s fantastic. Anyone who thinks otherwise is ignorant!

@stlbf @TwinkTheory Yes exactly. It’s sad some people don’t realize that. There’s so many different options to best fit a person with a disability too. Releasing that stress and pressure off parents and allowing them to just be parents creates a much better dynamic
