Meanwhile I walk into Walmart and see five closed checkout lanes, one cashier, and a line at self-checkout.

I applied there. Filled out the online application, did the AI questionnaire, did two interviews, and waited three weeks for a rejection.

Then I went back to the same store and saw the same five registers closed and the same “NOW HIRING” sign on the door.

So which is it?

Nobody wants to work, or nobody can get through the machine built to hire them?

I still live like a fucking child.
My mental health is still in need of professional help.
All I do is just drown myself in games or fictional things instead of locking down and doing the things I really want to do which brings growth.
I know it isn't too late, but it feels like it's already over until I'm reminded otherwise.
I'm struggling with my job again, but given one last chance, lest I'm forced to repeat the cycle.
Yet I have hope. Faint, but there.

My life right now is such a genuine downplay to what I could really have and achieve. Squandered, but... maybe there's some potential left after everything.
