I was wondering why SWIM is under the K-pop category at the #VMAs when the song is fully in English.

Does the K-pop category at award shows now classify songs based on the artist’s nationality rather than the language of the song? And if so, what exactly defines “K-pop” anymore?

Genuinely curious about where we draw that line.
