No better way to open up a Force and Motion unit than playing a game of tug-o-war. (Not pictured is their teacher (me) being destroyed by the boys vs girls challenge. π ) #doingscience@HumbleISD_ESE#fifthgraderocks
This little cutie participated in our Science STEAM at home challenge. She was able to construct a 6 inch tall corn on the cob using only candy corn candy! Way to go wildcat! @HumbleISD_HE
I love these moments. Moments where the students are working together to solve problems. Learning from each other. Teaching each other. It's why I love what I do. β€οΈ
Future authors in progress! Our students started creating their very own writing journals. Our first topic they wrote about was something they are grateful for to commence the new year. #encouragewriting#creativewriting@HumbleISD_HE
Our little fifth grade wildcats are working their way to suit up our very own Wildcat Willie to hang out with these cool cats. @HumbleISD_HE@SMRob_Counselor @Mrs_Zambuto
Such a fun presentation! Our kiddos got to see first hand what fun adaptations different birds have. They were able to connect what we have been learning in class to the real world. Thank you @texaswildlife for this cool experience! @HumbleISD_HE@Humble_Science
Our lil wildcats doctors were operating on some unwell patients. By using their order of operations, we were able to patch them up and send them home fully recovered! @HumbleISD_HE
Our lil wildcats thought it was the coolest thing ever having big wildcats hanging out and playing board games. Thank you @SMRob_Counselor and Mrs. Zambuto for setting this up! Just another reason why @HumbleISD_HE is the best campus!
Challenging my fifth graders to build structures and make math equations with the materials used. Incorporating decimals into creativity can be fun! @HumbleISD_HE
Future astronomers in the making! That's a wrap on our first group project in fifth grade! Off to our next adventure! π @HumbleISD_HE#skiesthelimit@HE
