A Gold Metal copy of Victor Wembanyama's SLAM debut just set a new all-time high for any unsigned SLAM magazine on a public platform.

The 9.6-graded CGC slab sold at eBay for $5,950 over the weekend, eclipsing last year's 9.9-graded Caitlin Clark debut which sold for $4,819.

The PSA Effect? A Gold Metal of Caitlin Clark's SLAM debut - graded at 9.8 by PSA - sold on eBay for $3,100 yesterday. It's the second highest public Caitlin Clark sale, behind only the 9.9 Newsstand copy that sold for $4,800 in May.
