@dsllwn Have you thought about cloudflare bot tracking the big hyperscalers? That would make a cloud run grok bot alternative obsolete for commerce based browser runs. I’m trying to solve this. Let me know if you wanna chat more.
Reading Dungeon Crawler Carl and I keep thinking about this:
If an AI can predict what entertains us, shape our incentives, and decide what we see, how different is the Dungeon from the technology we already live with?
@prestonattebery Disagree with you on that, A single thread should be good enough for any or most communication with an Agent, Agents should get better at differentiating contexts and deciding what information/context the user is talking about. After all that's how regular human conversation work
@paulg@mattyglesias I feel like this is a motivation problem. Not saying the US hustle culture is any better but the EU is on the opposite of that spectrum. Also have to agree the labor laws are weird
@zuess05 If your product can be “copied” so easily was it really a good one? Build in public, inspire some folks, get some copycats and keep a mentality of bring it on, I can do this better.
At that mindset you are positioning yourself to win rather than playing defensive
@benjitaylor I have 16,000+ hours on a single game called DoTA. Not even close to a pro but love coming back to it often. I genuinely believe some games help improve cognitive abilities as well as emotional intelligence
@ayuxhtwt I love Game Theory but I like to keep it simple and stick with probabilities (GOATED).
When I make decisions I look into the probabilities before committing to them. It’s helped me a ton.
@DavidPawlan I keep bringing this up… EVERYONE HAS SMS AND EVERYONE KNOWS HOW TO USE IT. Capitalize on it. If you need complex UI/UX to run simple tasks then there’s an issue with what you think is a good product.
0→1 is hard.
People will open source you. Thought bois will elegantly pick apart your product choices. Poasters will say nobody will ever use it, but also that it’s a commodity. That you’re the symbol of the top. That you’re cooked cooked cooked.
Until you’re inevitable. Then the idea was obviously good to anyone with eyes.
Fuck em and keep shipping. Coming up with one great idea means you can come up with the next thousand, while the replicators / NPCs are still struggling to copy your first.
And if you’re a mad observer, the best revenge is building something better—not extinguishing the flame of genuine new thinking, product craft, and the beginning of a new cycle for consumer software.
Build mad. Build happy. Just build.
@jjacky Have to recommend t3code from @theo dude knows UI/UX. Also recommend being on the nightly build if you’re okay with some unpolished stuff. 9/10 exp
@weswinder The life of a coding language depends on how good of a community is backing it. So far python community and exposure is solid just like how JavaScript is still relevant. So wether you like it or not python is serious
