@WajahatAli Yep. Vote suppression is one of the many thumbs on the scale. Weaponized and targeted purges and machine shortages are mainstays. Easy to do, hard to prove or otherwise deal with. Targeted redistricting and state takeovers will be increasingly used etc etc
@WajahatAli Too many Americans chose to look away from the fascist nightmare. The mainstream media hope peddlers and professional centrist happy pill sellers kept them distracted with their sweet lies and other distractions.

You have to vote but that's not enough. You need structural changes to ensure we have a democracy. You need to vote for those Democrats who will get rid of the filibuster, pass voting rights act, codify Roe, right to contraception, & expand the Court. "The old days" are gone.
Folks, Republicans aren't stupid. They realize a majority is against overturning Roe. They know it will motivate people to vote. They don't care. They're going to ensure the majority’s voice doesn't matter. They're ensuring minority rule. It's an ongoing coup. That's the plot.
Sorry she wasn’t pro-life she’s pro forced birth and dangerous at home abortion that endangers lives. I normally wouldn’t talk about this as I don’t have a uterus but I was so mad listening to the conversation I couldn’t help but say something.
“Nobody’s going to save us but us and it’s really important not to give up”
Worth your time to listen to what @HC_Richardson had to say about the Supreme Court overturning Roe. v Wade https://t.co/MdgcApk9tZ
The economy will eventually recover, Gas prices will eventually go down, and Baby Formula will be in abundance, but if we don’t hold Trump and the Insurrectionist GQP accountable for their attempted Coup, Democracy will never go back to the way it was before January, 6th 2021!🇺🇸
Migrants seeking asylum should always be treated as a humanitarian crisis, but this evening we're facing a horrific human tragedy.
More than 40 hopeful lives were lost. I urge you to think compassionately, pray for the deceased, the ailing, and their families at this moment.
