@mimmcgrawdeakin If people I follow online share photos of products they are using or clothes, for example, it often influences my contribution to consumerism. I think it's a form of advertising by appealing to peoples' interests (and weaknesses!!)

As I've been reviewing the evolution of my social media from the day I started my online journey, it is interesting to see what has changed and what has stayed the same in terms of what I share online. It leads me to wonder what my online identity will look like in 10 more years.

Performative self.. I am a sucker for this one. I never used to post anything because I had a fear of being fake; portraying something I wasn’t. Now I post more, nothing fake I don’t think but definitely the better parts of my life rather than the negatives. #alm101

@IndieBuckle @AshlynCroft11 Thanks Indie! I have thought a lot about this and tend to post things in the mindset of ‘food for thought’ for people rather than shoving certain views down their throat. I also really pick and choose what I post as I want to be open minded and ready to converse on the issue 😋

I always think about how I’m going to portray myself when posting, liking or sharing online which can sometimes be scary if I’m sharing a post about something political for example because there’s always a chance people aren’t going to like or agree with your content. #ALM101
