@WillBlackWriter I found it quite irritating. Enjoyed it in the old days when SB's interjections used to piss off the right people, but I felt quite sorry for Starmer having to make that incredibly difficult speech. Would have preferred to hear it without the distraction.

American immigrant here: Brits used to always ask why I moved over, which would become a boring conversation about US vs UK that I've had 100 times with 100 people. It's been almost a year since anyone has asked. It's the one part of the current presidency I'm thankful for.
Where I live (a leafy area in Liverpool, UK) there are roundabouts & roads with lovely flowers in planters
Many are planted by local residents who volunteer to maintain them all year
