I will never understand the mindset of “I struggled so everyone else should too.” I’m of the mind that if I faced challenges, I will embrace any policy that prevents others from facing that same challenge. The presence of a struggle indicates a problem and we need to fix it.

@theveganting Usually vegan yogurt and granola. Or a green smoothie. Or toast. Or i skip it. On the weekend we do scrambled tofu, grits, and roasted potatoes.

@Arkypatriot I grew up in Louisville and lived in the same house for 23 years. My parents still live there and are very fortunate to find their house still standing. It’s not normal. I don’t think I’m spreading fear. But I also don’t think fear is bad. Maybe you need to stop hiding from it.

@Arkypatriot As a Colorado native, this is absolutely not normal. Driest, warmest winter on record. Conditions caused by a changing climate. Add high speed winds (also very not normal) and you have a perfect setting for wildfire.

Most of the time, the math I learned in school that they *swore* I’d need in the real world, is pretty useless. But sometimes I need to figure out how to dilute cleaning supplies and I’m so happy I know how to do fractions.

Gabby Petito being found because of a YouTuber who was editing her videos, saw the van & immediately told authorities is so crazy to me. If there was media coverage like this for all the other missing people, there would be a huge chance for others to be found too.

Being vegan is weird sometimes because you randomly remember that time you bought a rabbit foot keychain and you begin spiraling about how weird humans are. Like seriously… why would we want to carry around the foot of another creature? Why?
