Lives on Gunaikurnai land. Left and getting lefter. Those who use ‘politically correct’, ‘woke’ or ‘having a social conscience’ as insults are irredeemable bums
2022 will be the 50th anniversary of this - I was going to say ‘campaign ad’ - but it was truly an anthem.
Don’t be surprised if you find your eyes leaking.

@aaronsmith She thinks that if she just keeps spewing a flow of random words that they’ll assemble themselves into something that makes sense. She’s stupid and ignorant, and it’s horrifying to think that there are a bunch of even more stupid and ignorant folk who think she’s the answer.
@aaronsmith What a pair of utter cunts! I was all excited about going out for a wonderful dinner to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary, but now I just want to punch that concrete haired, veins throbbing, no lipped, squawking fucking harridan in the earrings.
@Craig_Foster I didn’t hear him call her “difficult”. I heard him say that the situation is difficult. But we all want to hear what we want to hear. I believe we know Albo is the least misogynistic PM since Julia Gillard, and it’s disappointing to see people assuming the worst.
@MikeCarlton01 The final nail in the coffin for the scuzzy ghetto which was once the prime holiday destination for Australians (granted, many years ago).
@Microinteracti1 Just when I think I can’t respect Macron more than I already do… He sets the bar even higher. He seems to be the only leader of any significance that doesn’t tiptoe around Jabba the Orange.
An Open Letter to #AngusTaylor
Dear trembling, spreadsheet-fondling goober,
I was a long-term Liberal voter.
Not casual. Not “occasionally ticked the box and moved on.”
I had the badges. The T-shirts. The “Back in Black” coffee mug.
Good Lord, I even bought Scott Morrison’s ukulele off eBay.
I was committed, mate.
And then you did this.
You made #TimWilson Shadow Treasurer.
What in the deregulated free market hell were you thinking?
You’ve put Tim up against Jim!! @JEChalmers - How in a drunken field of poisoned grass could you do that?
Did you workshop this? Did anyone in the room say, “Angus, maybe don’t send a pamphlet to fight a policy document”?
Because here’s how this lands:
Jim Chalmers is calm. Competent. Measured.
He’s written budgets. Delivered budgets. Fronted the country.
He’s had to answer for inflation, debt, deficits — the whole economic lasagna.
And you’ve sent Dim Tim into that arena armed with vibes and a LinkedIn endorsement.
Let’s not even do the full credential autopsy — it’s indecent.
One has years in senior economic portfolios, nearly four as Treasurer, has delivered fiscal updates, and actually been accountable for outcomes.
The other?
• Zero years as Treasurer or Shadow Treasurer prior to 2026.
• Longest stint in any serious portfolio — barely long enough to remember the Wi-Fi password.
• No responsibility for national debt.
• No responsibility for budgets.
• No responsibility for inflation.
And now he’s meant to stride in and start yelling about who should be “sacked” for debt?
Angus.
WHAT WERE YOU SMOKING?
You don’t send a TED Talk to a Treasury fight.
I watched the announcement like a man watching his dog reverse over his own foot.
-I cried.
-I burnt the T-shirt.
-Threw the coffee mug out the window.
-The ukulele is now a backscratcher and occasionally a doorstop.
You didn’t just misread the room.
You misread the country.
This isn’t factional chess. This is economic credibility. And you just put it in the hands of a bloke whose longest policy commitment was arguing about free speech on campus.
I’m devastated. I’m disoriented. I’m considering voting for the Australian Party of Mild Titillation just out of emotional spite.
This is what you’ve done to me.
Sort yourself out.
Yours in stunned disbelief,
#Noisy
It is blindingly clear the hate speech laws only apply to antisemitism.
Imagine if Pauline Hanson said there are no good Jews in Australia.
Where are the police why have they not acted?
This double standard is intolerable.
BREAKING: Angus Taylor resigns from front bench, saying the #Liberals need someone who can lead the party to where it needs to go.
Perhaps he can lead the party to where the $80Million water is..?
