So happy for @HearstTV@mjhayesTV as he becomes only the fifth President of Hearst Television on May 1st. Mike is a great broadcaster who is committed to great journalism, localism and customer service. I couldn't be prouder of Mike and all of my @Hearst colleagues.

As you might have read, Twitter’s Curation team - which I led - was disbanded last week. 🧵
The multilingual team, located in 9 cities, provided content intelligence for ML-driven products, trends context and highlighted credible content when Twitter really needed it.
A Twitter Curation appreciation tweet:
I'm so proud of what we built. It was the quality of people and work that made it great. Such an honor to be on the team.
Esp s/o @JoannaG, whose leadership made one of the only positive evolutions of social media in the last 5 years.💙
Looks like Elon Musk fired the entire curation team.
These were the folks who tackled misinfo, contextualized conversations via the 'Explore' page, and helped make Twitter an unmatched source for breaking news.
This will make Twitter noisier, more dangerous & less interesting
Our team at 01 Advisors put together this community a couple weeks ago to help the Twitter Alumni Network stay connected as a large number of folks work to figure out what's next. It's active and productive and has already been a great resource for people

Twitter was such a special place that employed such uniquely interesting people with a genuine curiosity for the world. This layoff, in this way, breaks my heart.
Tweeps, let me know if I can be of service. Especially the Curation team, my DMs and Inbox are open. 💙
