I genuinely think Sonam Wangchuk is stupid. Who in their right mind builds schools in the Himalayas, invents artificial glaciers so farmers don’t die of thirst, wins international awards, inspires a movie that made crores, and then spends their life going on hunger strikes for a country that detains them under terrorism laws for 170 days as a thank you. Genuinely stupid behavior. Meanwhile our judicial system is busy giving bail to people who probably shouldn’t have it, detaining people who definitely shouldn’t be detained, and a High Court judge recently said something about removing clothes forcefully and having fun with a wife that I genuinely cannot repeat without my brain short circuiting. This is the country where Sonam Wangchuk is the problem. Where students get their exam papers leaked and nobody resigns. Where a 57 year old man starving himself for 17 days is less newsworthy than a Bollywood actor’s airport look. This country, Indian judiciary and government is seriously broken. And right now something is very, very broken.
Happy 15th August in advance. The flags are already being ironed.
i actually cannot believe that the national media's absolute silence on the 22 people who are on an indefinite hunger strike is surprising me, filling me with so much rage. icb im not used to this still, but this is absolutely not how it should be.
javan shippers think we only don’t want them together because of jasrenzo 😭
no babe. remove lorenzo from the villa and i’d STILL be screaming at jasmine to stand up.

Studios should not be allowed to buy a movie review app. It’s a huge conflict of interest that will prey on the general public’s desires for superficial recognition as studios tend to reward positive pr seen with influencers.
Polish publication Zawsze Pomorze names JADE's Open'er Festival set the unexpected "best show" of the day, praising the quality of her music and performance, noting the size and enthusiasm of her audience, and calling her solo career one to watch:
"I don't know what was the bigger surprise – the way the audience embraced JADE, or JADE herself. The energy during her performance on the Tent Stage was electric. The Brit was genuinely blown away by the size of the crowd, and even more so by their reactions. 'I could say absolutely anything!' she joked, the tent once again erupting into screams following another one of her remarks.
In my opinion, it was the best show of the festival's final day. JADE has charisma, artistry, star quality, and the kind of aura that only the biggest pop stars radiate. She's confident, cool, and at times cheekily bold.
Her career is one worth following – especially because she has so much to offer musically. This isn't just another derivative pop act."
Two of Interia Muzyka's music critics say JADE's Open'er Festival set was "the best moment" of the festival and "overshadowed" the other performances, noting the size of her audience and their enthusiastic response:
"Weronika Figiel: I was unexpectedly won over most by JADE's performance that evening, which overshadowed everything that came before it. But I'll let Bartek tell you more.
Bartek Warowny: JADE's show was the best moment of my Open'er 2026 experience. I've been waiting for her performance for months, because I love 'THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY!', I love her voice, I share her values – I just love everything about her. In my review of her debut album, I wrote that she's at her best when playing by her own rules. That still holds true.
The Tent Stage was packed to the brim, and the friends I brought to her show admitted they'd never had so much fun at a show. (See?! I told you!) The star was visiting Poland for the first time, and called the Open'er Festival audience the best she's had.
It's a shame there's no way to save the secret to JADE's voice onto a hard drive, because what she does with her vocals – not to mention her choreography and her overall show – needs to be scientifically studied.
The setlist even included a tribute to Little Mix – which I thought was lovely but not hugely necessary. I'd have preferred to hear more solo tracks from her album, like 'Unconditional' or 'Lip Service', but it's easy to understand why fans love a good throwback.
In my review of JADE's final song, 'Angel Of My Dreams', I wrote '"Angel Of My Dreams" was released as her debut single over a year ago, and it still gets me good. Goosebumps is an understatement. The production is simply masterful, and the song's structure – a pounding club beat interspersed with a dramatic, over-the-top chorus – perfectly matches the story JADE is trying to tell about the highs and lows of fame.' I'm now jealous of that version of Bartek, writing those words without knowing that just a few months later, he'd completely lose his voice singing along to this song. To say it was worth it would be a massive understatement.
JADE's performance was one I'll remember for a long time."
