The situation in France proves one thing.
Assimilation is a total myth. It doesn’t matter if foreigners are born in our countries. It doesn’t matter if they are 2nd, 3rd etc generation.
They don’t belong here.
Keeping them in our nations is radical. Remigration is sensible.
You can in fact be opposed to the murder of innocent babies while supporting the execution of convicted murderers. There is absolutely no conflict between these two positions. And it's actually grotesque to suggest that there is one.
Our ancestors had it right when it comes to executions (and many other things). They didn’t try to sanitize it. If you’re convicted of a horrible crime, you’re gonna die. They’ll hang you from a rope or shoot you or chop off your head and that’ll be it. They won’t pretend it’s something other than what it is. It’s ugly and violent, because killing someone is an ugly and violent thing, but it’s the fate you chose for yourself. It’s justice. Don’t want to suffer that fate? Don’t commit the crime. It was much more honest. Much simpler. And I think far more dignified for all involved, especially the condemned.

Ever wonder what $1874.40 of Opus 5.5 tokens looks like?
Wonder no more.
I highly recommend watching the whole video on 1080p on a large screen with sound on.
Pay attention to all the little details.
- Birds flying and diving into the ocean.
- Cloth, signs and lights swaying in the wind.
- Crabs scuttling along the shore and burrowing when you get close.
- Fish swimming alongside the whale.
- Lights illuminating the dock at night
Then zoom out and see the entire island. Never dipping below 60 FPS at 1440p resolution.
Yes, there's a few bugs and visual artifacts, some textures need improving, the shorelines waves sometimes look funny, but these are so trivial to fix at this point.
FYI I'm on the $200 subscription plan. This used 59% of my weekly usage and took 2h 7h of API time using multiple subagents, about 8h in real-time.
There was extremely little technical direction here. 99% of my prompts were "Add X and Y" or "This looks weird, make it better".
It's a great time for hobbyists, bad time for professionals. This experiment has further cemented my view that technical creatives are about to experience a massive disruption.
Engelske «earn money» (i betydningen harvest) penger.
Mens i USA sier de «make money».
A couple of months ago, I read a few pages of Peter Thiel's book Zero to One, and something stuck with me. He talks about how a perfectly competitive market is one you don't want to be in because your efforts are high and your rewards low.
Well, it seems to me that much of the youth's complaints about today's society could be traced back to this dynamic. Damn-near every waking hour is spent competing for something, and often for worse rewards than their parents received.
Got to eat healthy and hit the gym to looksmax, got to jestermax on dating apps, got to go to nice places to improve your social media, got to get an advanced degree and contract debt to have an ok job, got to bring your cognitive A-game to work, got to bring your sexual A-game the first time, got to be funnier than her options, got to manage your sleep and recovery to compete better.
None of this is mandatory, and some of it is not unique to our time, but both the reward for competing well and the penalty for competing badly are greater than ever. So you kind of have to compete.
As Michel Houellebecq famously observed in his 1994 novel Whatever, liberalism is the extension of competition to every domain of life. Infinite optionality means zero loyalty, and zero loyalty means infinite competition.
I suspect that some of the youth's inclination toward socialism is longing for some respite, even as the long-term effect of the remedy might be worse than the disease
This isn’t the case. People have never had longer life spans in the entire history of humans. Just like the concept of lifting weights in a gym to get stronger would be a foreign concept for someone born in the 1900’s perhaps we will have mental gyms in the future where we train our brains in the future. This is a natural step for humanity.

If millions go, my daughter might be able to buy a house
If millions go, my son might get a job after uni
If millions go, I might be able to sleep when either of them go out at night
If millions go, the NHS might work
MILLIONS MUST GO!
RESTORE BRITAIN AND PUT BRITONS FIRST
So you are telling me that I can make $1M in less than a year if I decide to get rejected couple hundreds time a day, 5 days a week, 20 times per month, by talking to people that I don’t know and will never talk to or see them again ?
I take the bet.
Barnslig holdning.
