Just see how they want steal 600 acres of Prime Property in Lamu worth billions now that Aliko Dangote is building a refinery. These idiots have now shame. Can @EACCKenya investigate this is attempted daylight robbery. I hope Governor Timmay will stop this nonsense.
I just saw the video of the Garissa ICU during the blackout. 💔Watching life-saving machines literally shut down with ZERO backup power is haunting.
How are human lives being treated as optional in 2026? Who is actually going to be held accountable for this?
There is a reason why the Ol Kalou by-election outcome was the second most consequential political event after the GenZ revolution in 2024. It was the second time the regime was being reminded that power belongs to the people. 🧵
Members of Parliament are openly confessing how they took bribes to undertake a constitutional process & yet nothing will happen to them. No inquiries. No investigations. Nothing. In fact, even journalists interviewing them are laughing about it like it is a joke. I give up!
When I came across this post from September 2022, I couldn't help but reflect on how politics often follows a familiar script. The post predicted that Uhuru Kenyatta would eventually be gone from power, that times would become difficult, and that Rigathi Gachagua would one day be "thrown under the bus."
Whether one agrees with every word or not, it raises an uncomfortable question: was the former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua always meant to be a stepping stone rather than a long-term political partner?
History is full of leaders who build alliances for the journey to power, only to discard those allies once the destination has been reached. Loyalty during campaigns can quickly give way to political convenience. Those who helped mobilise votes suddenly become liabilities instead of partners.
Gachagua's impeachment was more than a constitutional process it symbolised political betrayal. They believe he was useful when votes from Mt Kenya were needed, but expendable once power had been secured.
Politics is rarely about permanent friendships. It is about interests, timing and survival. If that interpretation is correct, then the lesson for any future deputy president is simple: proximity to power is not the same as security.
Today's trusted ally can become tomorrow's political casualty. Just what could happen to future political figures, including Deputy President Kithure Kindiki? Will he be used and the dropped for Oparanya who was introduced yesterday as DP in a rally?
Only time will tell whether the events of recent years were part of a long political strategy or simply the result of changing political circumstances. Either way, they have reminded Kenyans that in politics, today's indispensable ally can become tomorrow's expendable partner.
For months, CS Aden Duale has, in my view, engaged in the ethnic profiling of the Kikuyu community. I have formally petitioned the NCIC to investigate. If he fails to honour the Commission's summons within a week, I will pursue all available legal avenues, including relevant international accountability mechanisms like the ICC . Ethnic incitement must never be ignored, as it risks fuelling violence.
REASONS WHY I SUPPORT TUTAM:
1. Statehouse allocation increased by Kes 6.8 billion to Kes 13.64 billion from Kes 3.98 billion, a 100.6% increase. Meanwhile, hospitals lacked drugs, doctors, nurses and therapists went months without salaries, schools lacked capitation, and the new higher-education funding model was doing mathematics even Einstein could not understand. But at least the palace is comfortable for the king and his visitors. wapi makofi 👏🏿 ya rais jameni.
2. The first 20 months in office, the king made 62 foreign trips, visiting a total of 38 countries, by the second anniversary of his presidency he had made about 66 foreign trips just to fulfil his childhood dreams at a total cost of approximately Kes 2 billion, as he travelled, more Kenyans sunk into poverty and payslips got raided to fund the king’s lifestyle in the palace. Wapi makofi 👏🏿 ya rais jameni.
3. During the king’s 1st tam tenure, a total of 200 Kenyans died under police instructed brutality, parents mourned, instead of being humane and showing leadership, the king instructed police to shoot more Kenyans on the legs 🦵🏿for fun as his son bought more matatus that keep breaking traffic rules under the watch of NTSA live on cameras. Wapi makofi 👏🏿 ya rais jameni.
4. Instead of providing a conducive environment for Kenyans to create jobs for themselves, King Zakayo opted to bill us to build office 🏢 blocks and named them affordable housing to create short term employment and allegedly solving a housing crisis that was never there since almost 3/4 of houses in urban areas remain unoccupied due to affordability issues and not lack of housing. Wapi makofi 👏🏿 ya rais jameni.
5. The king oversaw the cost of fuel raising to Kes 207 a litre and blamed an Iranian war that only affected Kenya in the entire world 🌍, after realising the war excuse was a lie, the king decided to solve the problem he created via unnecessary taxation on fuel by reducing the fuel price by Kes 9/- and went to tell wananchi he has reduced the cost of living. That was like stealing someone’s goat, returning one leg and asking them to thank you for your generosity. Wapi makofi 👏🏿 ya rais jameni.
6. Instead of fixing NHIF, the king created a money looting scheme called SHAH that has been a catastrophic failure! The king has continued to publicly declare SHAH as functional despite many hospitals and users stating otherwise. Latest SHAH victims have been teachers including medics but the king does not believe it. Wapi makofi 👏🏿 ya rais jameni.
Ni wantam si wantam jameni?
The impeachment of H E Rigathi Gachagua was secured through bribery of Parliament, an admission made by a Member of Parliament. It was unlawful, unconstitutional, null and void, but the three Judges ruled otherwise.
NO,NO, NO Mr. so called President!!!
You don’t get to talk about threats when your administration has spent the last few years becoming the biggest threat to ordinary Kenyans. And this habit of calling everyone who disagrees with you “anti-development” has to stop. Kenyans have every right to question you. That’s not being against progress. That’s holding the people in power accountable.
You keep asking Kenyans to rally behind your government. For what exactly? To celebrate more taxes? More borrowing? More broken promises? Support is earned, Mr. President. It isn’t demanded. So please stop with this nonsense of blaming the opposition every time things aren’t working. You asked Kenyans to trust you with the country. The least you can do is take responsibility for what has happened under your watch.
The opposition is not responsible for the state of our economy. You are. You’ve been in charge. If businesses are struggling, if taxes have become unbearable, if millions of Kenyans are working harder than ever but getting nowhere, that’s YOUR RECORD, not theirs.
WANTAM!!
Hon Aden Duale C S , your recent remarks against the Kikuyu Community have brought out the worst in you. You have been called to apologise but you said no because according to you other people have made worse mistakes. Let me respond to you after all i m also a hy….. Two wrongs don’t make a right and only a fool who does not change his /her https://t.co/ZQq9izBYud should withdraw your remarks and apologise profusely.@HonAdenDuale@ntvkenya@tv47digital@citizentvkenya
SC, When you add the sentiments expressed in this video to the earlier one in which the CS referred to the Kikuyu community as "hyenas," a clear pattern of ethnic profiling emerges. As a Peace and Reconciliation specialist, I can state with confidence that such rhetoric is a dangerous precursor to ethnic violence. Kenya's leaders must reject divisive language and uphold national unity before words escalate into actions.
🚨 EXCL: Arsenal exploring move to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid. #AFC interest early stage + clubs not yet in talks but idea approved at all levels. Much rests on contract process as no breakthrough yet & #RMFC do not want free exit @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/qYdS5vlfE6
