All the sugar in your blood adds up to about one teaspoon.
A can of cola asks your blood to find room for nine.
A glass of orange juice asks your blood to find room for six.
A bowl of cornflakes with milk asks your blood to find room for eight.
A round of wholemeal toast asks your blood to find room for seven.
A jacket potato asks your blood to find room for nine.
A portion of rice asks your blood to find room for twelve.
A bowl of pasta asks your blood to find room for nineteen.
A ribeye asks your blood to find room for none.
Every teaspoon past the first must be cleared in a hurry, and insulin is the removal van.
The breakfast on the government's plate asks for seven. The one it warns you off asks for none.
Everton: 8-point deduction for PSR breaches.
Nottingham Forest: 4-point deduction for PSR breaches.
Granit Xhaka: 2-year suspension plus £136,265 for COVID-19 certificate forgery.
Manchester City: 115 charges - let's allow them to appeal and then take 50 years to make our verdict.
The Premier League is a corrupt institution.
🚨 EXCL: Everton put up for sale by The Friedkin Group. #EFC owner already seeking investment but now ready to exit if/when right buyer emerges. TFG intend to maintain full support in meantime after stabilising club + completing stadium move @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/tvg3nw441a
Ghana, whose currency has grown rapidly strong since Mahama took over, just began trading directly with the Chinese yuan instead of the dollar. The next World Bank report now says Ghana's cedi emerged as Africa's worst-performing currency in the second quarter of 2026. To show you how Pure Western hypocrisy works and the world is all about competition.
🚨 Petr Čech: “Roman was forced out. City are being pampered.”
“This is no longer only about a football club. It is about who is protected, and who is not. American owners. Russian owners. Arab owners. Are they treated the same? No.
When Roman was stripped of the club, the line from the FA was that the integrity of the game sits above the interest of any foreign national. That line has changed. This is now interest, and ties.
A supporter of City, dressed up as a fair statement, has arrived from Andy Burnham. That is not his job. Sport has a ministry. Let it work. A political office telling the game how a case should land is not neutral, and it is not small.
The message underneath is obvious. Do not push this club. Do not talk about a sale. We prefer these owners to stay. That is not fair. It is dangerous.
You do not want to lose the partner. Or you want to bend the competition. I do not know which. What I know is that money is now the subject.
A Russian owner was forced to sell and leave, with no FA charge and no Premier League sustainability breach in front of him. City sit on 115. They are being managed, appealed, and spoken for. Burnham backing the ownership is disappointing.
Roman put billions into Chelsea and turned it into a European powerhouse. He was shown the door. City broke the competition. A man convicted, still calling himself innocent because the paperwork was not perfect. That is this case.
The rules that protect every member club should be allowed to run when there is a defaulter. Or some clubs get a privilege. I do not think that is fair.
The delay, the appeals, the political comment — they are all on the table. In my book, City cheated. The outcome will say whether the game still has rules, or only friends.”
For everyday Nigerians who are fantasizing about a military "coup" as a quick, magical shortcut to politically liberate the country, please take a moment to actually study the formidable security architecture, geographic fortification, and intelligence perimeter surrounding the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.
This reality check is critically important because most of you are lazily comparing Nigeria’s military dynamics to the Sahelian states of Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger and assuming that what worked for their young military officers can be seamlessly copy-pasted here in Abuja.
Understand that the Nigerian ruling class did not move the federal capital from Lagos to Abuja merely because they wanted to decongest Lagos. The strategic plan to relocate the seat of power was accelerated primarily because Lagos was like an inescapable military death trap for anyone who captured power.
General Ibrahim Babangida was nearly blown to pieces in his own bedroom during the bloody 1990 coup at Dodan Barracks. After barely escaping with his life through a back exit, the construction and fortification of the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja was frantically expedited, officially relocating the federal capital by December 1991.
Unlike Lagos, which was an exposed coastal terrain where mutinous soldiers could easily commandeer radio stations, barricade bridges, and surround the head of state, the Presidential Villa in Abuja is naturally shielded by the sheer granite monolith of Aso Rock. This geographic fortress mathematically eliminates any rear assault. The only viable physical entry route is through a heavily fortified, multi-layered security corridor, where every access gate is militarized with armored battle tanks, automated checkpoints, and elite snipers under standing orders to shoot at the slightest sign of aggression. Even if you pulled off a Hollywood-style, James Bond movie stunt and miraculously overwhelmed the military battalion stationed at the outer gates, you are still confronted with winding, barricaded kilometers of open kill-zones. Driving through that gauntlet exposes you to overhead surveillance drones, thermal imaging sensors, anti-tank barricades, and sniper fire every single second, turning any armed advance into a guaranteed suicide run from cradle to grave.
So, the conventional ground-invasion tactics that were historically deployed to topple Nigerian heads of state in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s can no longer function. Furthermore, in the past, successful coups were possible because the specific guards assigned to protect the leader were drawn from the regular army and could easily be co-opted or recruited by coup plotters to betray the Commander-in-Chief. We saw this historically when General Murtala Muhammed was ambushed in Lagos traffic in 1976, or when General Muhammadu Buhari was betrayed and arrested by his own trusted military officers in 1985.
Today, that vulnerability has been structurally neutralized. The regular military and the Brigade of Guards are strictly restricted to securing the outer perimeter of the federal capital, while the Department of State Services (DSS) is exclusively tasked with the president's close protection. This institutional division creates severe operational friction, making it virtually impossible for military conspirators to coordinate with the inner security apparatus. Consequently, any hypothetical coup today would strictly require a massive, compromised intelligence operation that plants deep-cover moles within the highest ranks of the DSS, or a coordinated series of high-precision military airstrikes to penetrate the Presidential villa. The only actors on earth possessing the satellite reconnaissance, cyber-warfare capabilities, and stealth technology to execute such a decapitation are global superpowers like the United States, Russia, or China. The moment a superpower executes that operation, it instantly ceases to be a progressive domestic revolution, and immediately transforms into direct state capture by foreign imperialist masters.
So, this military coup that so many of you here on this platform are salivating over, parading it as the only viable mechanism to install a patriotic "strongman" who will magically fix Nigeria, is nothing but a dangerous, juvenile fantasy. Even if such a scenario materialized in broad daylight, it would result in nothing more than the complete subjugation, partitioning, and occupation of Nigeria by foreign capital.
At the same time, we must have the intellectual honesty to admit that our current, corporate-funded ballot-box democracy will never liberate Nigeria politically. It will never dismantle the deeply entrenched capitalist structure that artificially keeps over 133 million working-class citizens in a state of grinding destitution, while the comprador political class continuously plunders the national treasury on behalf of global capital.
You cannot liberate Nigeria as it currently stands without a full-fledged, structural revolution. But a revolution does not automatically require bloodshed or military adventurism.
Consider the good people people of Vietnam: during the historic August Revolution of 1945, they seized national power with virtually no widespread bloodshed. How did they achieve this? Ho Chi Minh and his cadres spent over twenty years quietly educating the colonized populace on class analysis, anti-imperialist political economy, agrarian land reform, dialectical materialism, and mass organization.
They educated the people until the working class and peasantry became conscious enough to unite across villages, coordinate general strikes, occupy government secretariats, take over transport terminals, and unilaterally demand the non-negotiable establishment of a sovereign socialist republic. The subsequent, bloody Vietnam War was not initiated by the Vietnamese; it occurred because imperialist France and the United States violently invaded their territory to crush that sovereign victory. Yet, because the people had been ideologically educated, they fought a protracted thirty-year war and defeated the greatest capitalist war machine on earth.
So, anyone currently marketing the lazy idea that all Nigeria needs is to vote in a single "messiah," or an incorruptible "saint" is either an opportunistic charlatan or a politically illiterate individual who has never studied history, political economy, or the mechanics of global capital. And anyone selling the alternate delusion of a patriotic military strongman seizing power via a coup falls into the exact same bankrupt category. The messiah complex is completely dead on arrival in a fractured, heavily populated nation of 220 million people that has never experienced genuine, structural decolonization.
Any serious movement to liberate Nigeria must begin with the mass political education of everyday Nigerians. You can never treat the working-class people as passive, cheerleading spectators of their own salvation. The people must be politically enlightened, ideologically organized, and directly recruited into the disciplined struggle for their own collective sovereignty.
"In public, Infantino always insisted on sticking to the rules, as though he were a kind of saint taking on the financial doping administered by the evil fat cats. But now the full hypocrisy has been exposed.
To the outside world, Infantino has always given the impression of only wanting what was best for football and never what was best for himself. The papers, together with interviews with a dozen experts and FIFA insiders, suggest another mindset typical of an autocrat, according to which what's best for him must always be best for everybody else, too."

Part of my process of growing up and jacking out of the US imperial matrix was discovering that there is literally an entire WORLD of TV and cinema outside of Hollywood, and that I did not *need* to enage with ANY American entertainment whatsoever as long as I could deal with the tiny, 1-inch-high inconvenience of reading subtitles.
Nowadays, having discovered Chinese, Korean and Japanese TV and film, I look back with so much scorn on the version of myself that was caged by Amerislop. I watch and read so much content from non-Western sources that I even realised that the so-called "Hero's journey" format of basically every Amerislop storyline is not a hard and fast rule of storytelling, but just some shit that a white guy made up - there are so many other even more entertaining story formats and styles in the world.
The empire's greatest psy-op is to successfully convince you that it is the entire world, and that its Amerislop makes up the majority of human cultural output. That shit is a lie! It's the same old bait-and-switch they do by taking something free or plentiful, then monopolising it and making it scarce, or using marketing to convince you that it's scarce even if it's not, so that they reap super profits from your desperation or FOMO.
Whether it's Sam Altman saying he intends to "put intelligence on a meter" so that you become dumber and you have to pay ChatGPT to do what you currently do for free inside your head, or it's Nestle and Pepsico saying that "water is not a human right" so that they can control what is free and sell it back to you, or Hollywood convincing you that Amerislop is the best or only entertainment available to you (despite tehre being a TON of substitutes), the basic oyibo business model is the same - capture your imagination and force you to pay for the privilege of being enslaved.
Jack out of the matrix and come join us in the big world outside. It's great here!
No more cheap energy and resources subsidised by Sahelian misery = societal unravelling in France.
And that's the realityh of what Europe is.
A giant cancer cell masquerading as a "civilisation".
"Ciao Capo" ["Hello Boss"].
Imagine a Swiss senior chief prosecutor addressing the president of FIFA that way. Now imagine that this is not a satire, but a documented exchange revealed through Football Leaks. You can debate the meaning, you can debate the context. But one thing is difficult to dispute, a pattern emerges of secret meetings and questionable conduct involving FIFA president Gianni Infantino, and perhaps "Ciao Capo" says more than a thousand official statements ever could.
Portugal didn’t want to lose Ronaldo. They wanted to keep the name, the attention and the commercial power while quietly reducing the football. That was the problem.
Ronaldo reportedly generated $107M in audience value from just 29 World Cup posts. Portugal’s account made 565 posts and generated $79M
So of course they wanted him around but he was never going to accept becoming a mascot in boots. His message was simple… play me if I’m still good enough. If I’m not, have the courage to say it.
This wasn’t really about minutes. It was about Portugal wanting the benefits of Ronaldo without fully backing Ronaldo.
Malcolm X holding a Rifle while guarding his family, 1964.
By this point, Malcolm had broken publicly with the Nation of Islam, a split that left him politically isolated and personally vulnerable. After denouncing its leadership and founding the Organization of Afro American Unity, he began receiving repeated death threats. His home in Queens had already been firebombed while his wife and children were inside.
Contrary to popular portrayals, Malcolm X was not advocating violence for its own sake. He argued that nonviolence was a strategy, not a moral absolute, and that it should not be demanded of people who were already under attack.
Added fact:
Less than a year after this photo was taken, Malcolm X was assassinated on February 21, 1965, while preparing to speak at the Audubon Ballroom in Harlem.
🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Premier League clubs are demanding that Manchester City be RELEGATED if their appeal fails.
Several club executives do NOT expect Manchester City to be playing in the Premier League next season if their appeal is unsuccessful.
They believe a points deduction would NOT be enough punishment for NINE YEARS of alleged financial rule breaches and are pushing for a MUCH harsher sanction.
