Thank you @SharmaShradha for standing with us in our genuine long pending demands of #5DaysBanking which was already noted by Govt for more than 1000 Days. 🙏🙏
At same time, I appeal you & @IndianExpress to raise voice for staff shortages in PSBs so that at every counters, our respected customers can’t feel inconvenience. At one end, PVBs are increasing branches & staffs while other side, PSBs are on mercy of Govt for creating vacancies at ground levels i.e from Clerical posts to Scale -1,2&3 officers. Many people are leaving PSBs due to toxic work cultures & heavy mounted pressures and at same time, new generations are getting scared to join PSBs. 🙏🙏
Banks are not just buildings or branches. They work because thousands of people show up every day and keep things moving for millions of us.
The five day working week has been a long standing demand of bank employees. I hope this is heard and discussed seriously, and that there is a way forward.
To everyone working in our banks every day, thank you. A lot of what you do goes unnoticed, but it matters. I stand with you.
