@inkthink@BipinLAW Regions such Khumbu have prospered through tourism because it has been led by local people - oriented around family run enterprises (not Ktm business houses) & they've made concerted efforts to protect the ecology which tourism depends on (e.g. refusal to extend road past Lukla).
