When we watch TV, our TVs watch us back and track our habits. This practice has exploded recently since it hasn’t faced much public scrutiny. But in the last few days, not one but *three* papers have dropped that uncover the extent of tracking on TVs. Let me tell you about them.

@zsavvas90 I am glad you were able to get it within minutes. To be honest, I am not quite sure. Given that was my flight was leaving within an hour, I did not do much research into why. But I believe there are a couple of factors like your nationality, visa type, prior visits to canada.
I recently learned a harsh lesson - make sure you check whether you need a transit visa for all the countries you are flying through. Few weeks ago, on my way back to US from Europe, I was not allowed to board the @AirCanada flight as I did not have transit visa for Canada.
Besides extreme frustration, this cost me quite a decent amount of money.
If you are an international student, please make sure you check the requirements for transit visas. Companies like Expedia won't warn you about visa requirements.
Also, why does Canada require this :( ?
Agents refused to issue me a transit visa and asked me to apply for one online (that would have taken 5-6 days). To rub salt into the wound, I had to take same-day flight through another airline as my Schengen visa was expiring. So, I had to leave the Schengen area that day.
