maybe I'm in the minority but I'm playing against people who don't fully understand tapping and can't keep track of their own triggers while also talking about a sweet infinite combo from edhrec they bought, and it just tires me, and it feels rare to find someone not like that
brackets, "game changers", and the language of staples and "upgrades" are terrible decisions imo and have only made commander players, who already have more money than sense, more insufferable
starmer might just be one of the most pathetic individuals to have ever lived, just completely vacant of any beliefs or goals or personality, less effective and interesting than a cardboard cutout of himself
@LemorasCards I may only do casual commander but if someone pinky-promised they weren't going to win and then immediately did so I wouldn't be remotely shocked. Like this is quite specific info imo, why wouldn't they act on it if it would win them the game?
power scaling discourse was initially annoying but people who talk about power levels and Battle IQ demanding to be taken seriously is just too funny to stay mad at
@Primrose_115_ thinking I'm hot shit with a felarx that Kills Anything while my wife's zephyr swoops in to one-shot the entire perita rebellion with +70000% damage
@Triburos honestly there are so many things that could be done, while I agree with pablo on many points there's definitely room for more focused challenge and I don't think it's fair to discount raids as a concept for WF. like a parkour gauntlet would go so fucking hard
@PolitlcsUK if I was Zarah I just wouldn't have left tbh, the speaker pathetically flailing like he's failing to keep a primary school assembly in check is just tragic. Most of the people in that room barely deserve to live, let alone remain in their positions
what if i heard a knock on the door and i went to answer it and there was no one there, then i look down and thereโs the woodcock doing his little dance. just a little Saturday night fantasy
I live near a one-way street and it always cracks me up watching people reverse out as if there's like a loophole that makes it okay because the car is still facing the right way
@Em_TeeGee years of saying 'ninjitsu' without question or comment, wife even has a ninja deck, looked up some rulings the other day and realise it's ninjutsu
I'm still saying ninjitsu
@schlemmon_ it's definitely worthwhile if you like how it plays, the story is sorta fractured and deliberately confusing but if you enjoy environmental storytelling and bringing together bits & pieces of info that coalesce into "oh so THAT's why x is like that!" moments, you'll like it imo
went to an lgs after years of basically no interaction with magic, poster on the wall with sephiroth in black, apparently there's an ATLA set, I daren't even look up what else there is
