Did you know that Sharjeel Imam designed the Qaafiya Dictionary for Rekhta, an online tool for finding rhyming words in Urdu poetry?

Rekhta needed someone who was an expert in Urdu, Persian, and coding, and Sharjeel Imam had expertise in all three.

Yet Rekhta has never publicly acknowledged Sharjeel Imam, despite his significant contributions to the platform.

Instagram removes the reel posted on LiveLaw's official page about the ECI's affidavit in the #SupremeCourt.

The reel, which was only an explanation of the ECI's version, was removed by Instagram saying, "We received a legal request to restrict this content".

There is no explanation how the reel (https://t.co/oGCKxwPz5J) violated any law.

Sharjeel Imam’s foundational ideology is similar to Jamaat E Islami. Jamaat E Islami refused to participate in India’s secular system/democracy for the 40 years after independence, boycotted elections as unislamic. Only ALLOWED its members to vote in elections circa 1985. All the while all political parties (secular, communists, bhagwa et al) continued to engage with them. The same media outlets/journalists who are making noise about Imam, in the past glorified Jamaat E Islami.
