Binance Research: U.S. Stocks Are Siphoning Capital From Crypto
Binance Research, the institutional-grade research arm of Binance, said crypto’s recent weakness may be driven less by crypto-native factors and more by capital being pulled into U.S. equities. It noted that the Cboe Dispersion Index has risen to 42, the third-highest level on record, showing S&P 500 flows are heavily concentrated in a few themes such as AI, semiconductors, defense, energy and commodities, leaving BTC increasingly sidelined.
Binance Research said that in past periods of extreme U.S. equity concentration, BTC typically bottomed within 0 to 20 weeks, with a median of about two weeks; without a crypto-native crisis, such capital diversion is often temporary. https://t.co/1L72osv49T
