Night driving in Mumbai is becoming a nightmare because of vehicles using blinding aftermarket headlights.

MH01DX8786 was constantly tailgating me from Bhandup to Mulund Toll Naka.

The glare was so intense that I literally had to turn my rear-view mirror away just to keep driving safely.

You shouldn't have to choose between seeing the road ahead and protecting your eyes from the vehicle behind you.

This place in Rainawari (Kashmir) is known as 'Batta Mazar'.

It literally means 'Graveyard of Brahmins'.

620 years ago, Muslims summoned Brahmins to this place and gave them two choices

1) Discard Janeu
2) Diε

Nobody discarded Janeu. They were all killεd. 37 kg of Janeu was collected from their dead bodies and burnt. Hence the name 'Batta Mazar'.

This is what Kashmiri Brahmins suffered in the hands of Kashmiri Muslims for 700 years.

But in the eyes of Indian state today, Kashmiri Brahmins are the 'oppressors' and Kashmiri Muslims are 'oppressed'.

It rewards Kashmiri Muslims with reservations while many exiled Kashmiri pandits still rot in tents and refugee camps.

This is India's reservation policy in a nutshell.

My heart just broke after reading this.

This is Courtney Gartshore.

She killed her 3 month old baby by burning her with a hairdryer and has now been sentenced to 6 years in prison.

Just imagine how helpless that baby was. A 3 month old baby cannot run away or even ask someone for help. She depended completely on her mother. But the person who was supposed to protect her became the reason for her painful death.

This was cruel, heartless, and disgusting.

No child should ever have such a mother.

It must take enormous motivation to get ready every morning, commute from Ballabgarh towards Gurugram, arrive at a bus stand like this -and still take out your phone, record it, share it and hope that this time someone will care enough to act.

Our dear member Sumit Tayal has been doing exactly that for 3 years.

3 years of documenting and reporting waste dumping and burning.
3 years of raising concerns.
3 years of hoping the civic authorities -including CAQM/CPCB -will hold the local authorities accountable and fix ground situation

And yet, here we are.

Open dumping. Open burning. Food waste, cups, plates, fruit waste, straws and plastic around vendor stalls. Stray cattle. Open defecation. Road dust. Filth.

As Sumit says in the video:

“सामने ही पुलिस चौकी और नगर निगम फरीदाबाद का कार्यालय भी है, तब ये हाल है।”

The police post is right there.
The Municipal Corporation Faridabad office is right there.

Then how does this become #normal?

@PMOIndia -how does the government expect people to shift to public transport to reduce congestion and emissions when this is what awaits them?

We aren’t asking for an airport lounge.

We are asking for a decent bus stand in 2026: clean surroundings, functional toilets, drinking water, proper waste collection, source reduction and segregation, a system for vendors to manage their waste, no dumping or burning and a paved, usable approach road.

And yes, we have all seen how quickly public spaces can be cleaned and made presentable when a VIP event is expected.

So clearly, it can be done.

But perhaps ordinary commuters know the truth:

#We_are_not_VIPs_But_We_pay_taxes, use public transport and ask for basic civic infrastructure -while being lectured about our bhagidari.

@MoolChandSharma ji a bus stand in 2026 should not look like 1426.

@VipulGoelBJP ji The SWM Rules, 2026 are in force.

Three years of citizen documentation is enough.

Please inspect. Please enforce. Please fix. And please tell citizens what action has been taken.

स्वतंत्रता दिवस कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि मंत्री गुरु खुशवंत साहब के काफिले के गुजरने के दौरान मरीज को लेकर जा रही एम्बुलेंस को काफी समय तक इंतजार करना पड़ा जबकि काफिले में शामिल वाहन लगातार गुजरते नजर आते हैं।

घटना के बाद VIP कल्चर और मानवता को लेकर सवाल उठ रहे हैं। आलोचकों का कहना है कि जब एम्बुलेंस में मरीज मौजूद हो, तब उसे प्राथमिकता मिलनी चाहिए।

हमे अंग्रेजों से तो आजादी मिल नहीं लेकिन इन नेताओं से कब मिलेगी?

The tragic loss of a woman in a road accident while trying to avoid a pothole in Hebbagodi, Bengaluru, is deeply unfortunate. I express my heartfelt condolences to her family.

It is unfortunate to see a tragic loss of life being used to make politically motivated and sweeping claims about the city’s infrastructure.

My remarks were only in response to questions on roads constructed during the BJP’s tenure. I have never politicised the death of an innocent woman, nor will I ever do so.

The concerned authorities are investigating the incident. Our Government stands with the bereaved family and will extend all possible support during this difficult time.
