I'm so happy to see this topic being discussed on TikTok. People always praise Lottie for not being the stereotypical spoiled rich girl, but Tiana rarely gets that same appreciation. Most of the time, she's only talked about in relation to her friendship with Lottie.
The 70s-80s is really the closest thing we have to black american traditional clothing. All other parts of the diaspora got their cultural garb that they put on during special occasions, festivals and whatnot. We shouldnt just let ours fade away into obscurity
