@2APerfectly @DaddyBrianMC your attack you just made my point- “for public safety” is why public assembly permits are constitutionally permitted & the same reason common sense gun laws including reasonable fees are permissible even though both could be argued to limit your fundamental constitutional rights

@DaddyBrianMC @2APerfectly If you can afford to buy a gun you can afford a reasonable fee in addition to the purchase- just like if I want to go hunt each year I can afford a reasonable fee for a hunting license- totally agree that fee should not be prohibitive

@2APerfectly @DaddyBrianMC Yes stated purpose is to prohibit people who are not authorized from getting a gun but result, which is implied, is to make it harder for criminals to get their hands on guns - not so naive to think some won’t find a way to get a gun anyway but it doesn’t have to be easy for them

@DaddyBrianMC @2APerfectly Unfortunately, private sales do not require a background check and that loophole needs to be closed - on the training - costs and length should be reasonable but that could be part of the legislation
