Speeding absolutely saves time on highway trips. There is an entire meme genre about beating the Google estimate. 7-8 mph over the limit can save almost an hour off a 6 hour drive at the speed limit.

Okay friends! This time the hold up is not my fault! Rascal's cousin was having to deal with a little riff raff in his backyard while he was out waiting for his grill to update.
