Anita is on a journey back to competitive figure skating after a tough break. She's been training hard, but the costs add up. Every little bit helps her chase her dreams. Please consider supporting her! https://t.co/zKavbR0eiV
During my career I tried a lot of workouts to enhance my performance on the ice.
I never stopped to work out, but I still miss that time.

One more Swedish athlete falling in the same trap as I did with the Olympics.
I feel the tears by reading her post being rejected the same way.
Fuck, It's such a bullshit when athletes are treated like contraceptives, single use only.....
@mywhirlwindkid I'm not in the bubble at all, and I'm not going to Stockholm during the competition.
But I'm 100 % sure that the OC is doing their best to make it to a safe event to all people involved.
@Iron_Klaus I think they should be 99 % safe, all members are PCR tested in the bubble, and no one is breaking the law according Swedish health authorities.
Let us now focus on the athletes physical preparations before competition.

Right now I'm working with Covid vaccination until the pandemic is over, such an interesting and different job.
We are working fast as a bullet, soon we will reach the goal!
@justinar_@NoQuarNoWorlds I come from a small town and I was worried going to Stockholm due to the news also.
When I came to Stockholm I was surprised that it was very safe everywhere - except shopping malls!
As long as athletes don't do shopping in expensive Sweden then everything will be fine.
Good news!
Talked with Hawk Eye and they told that it's possible to use the technology in figure skating, but they need to program the technology to calculate a skaters elements.
I gave them also an idea to make a trial run on Worlds in Stockholm 😉
I wrote an email to Hawk Eye @Hawkeye_view with questions regarding if the technology is possible to use in figure skating.
3 target questions asked:
- downgraded jumps
- pre - rotations
- edges on take off
I let you all know when I have the answer!

Small update!
I'm still waiting for an answer from HawkEye support.
I will try to contact them again regarding the questions about the software use in skating.
Here is one more example on myself, how would you judge this jump fair for an athlete?
Is this:
- inside edge (normal Flip)
- outside edge
- or do we need to take help of a AI computer?
I personally don't know which edge i did on this Flip...
Imagine being able to use Hawk -eye video system to analyze rotation of figure skating jumps.
No more human errors!
It can also probably be made to detecting wrong edge jumps and counting spins.
Is it only me who had this idea for a long time?
@ISU_Figure
@hjsxR7Dm7bxXz36@ISU_Figure Thank you!
My lutz is good, but the flip can sometimes be on wrong edge and I accept that when I can see that on replay. It is much easier to accept it if a computer calculates it without personal connections to the skater.
