How can we reduce waste in our homes & family life? Zero waste beauty, cleaning & shopping. Also composting, recycling & environmental news ๐ฟ #Hove#myecoswap
If you didnโt catch #Drowninginplastic last night I would recommend you do. Itโs devastating to watch and just reminds me to continue to take action against the plight of plastic
Thank you for watching and for your all your comments! I want to continue the conversation about turning the plastic tap off at the source. Join me at @RGS_IBG on 29th November for a talk and expert panel discussion about where the plastic buck stops. #DrowningInPLastic ๐๐๐
What an incredible privilege for @sascampaigns to have been selected as one of the official #royalwedding charities This is bringing an unprecedented global spotlight to our work for #plasticfreecoastlines and #plasticfreecommunities Thank You for all the support ๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ง๐๐
@amagervillage@thewholygrain @lessstuffnow @SWGreenRoom Great pledges ๐ I have tried to cook more from scratch, use green cleaning products and reduce my plastic
@thewholygrain@make_more_space@cheekywipes@PodgeAndTitch A bit of organising. If at home or nurserys a bowl of water and cotton wool. As I'm sure we were told by midwifes. Out and about most place have good baby changing facilities now. A sink and soap for those up the backers!
@OrpingtonKids@thewholygrain@cheekywipes@PodgeAndTitch I really do see it from both sides. I do think there is a solution though. I guess itโs similar to the idea of using cloth nappies which is a bit of extra work but worth it for the environment again completely depends on the individual mothers and their own circumstances
I know that some parents are upset about the wet wipe ban but Iโm not because there are many alternatives for example taking a damp flannel in a waterproof container or even purchasing @cheekywipes. Thoughts @PodgeAndTitch? #wetwipes https://t.co/U4ppAe9XQd
@make_more_space@cheekywipes@PodgeAndTitch@thewholygrain Belive me I have memories of having my face washed in the car and it wasn't particularly nice but wet wipes are pointless. Maybe some sort of essential oil might help. Lavender?
