Talarico called Crockett and asked her to make the keynote at the convention two weeks ago.
She didn’t return the call.
As someone who lost badly and then endorsed the eventual also progressive winner, I wish her well in sorting through her feelings.
And I would say that her endorsing and transforming her rage into closure too will make her personally feel better too.
“Moderates” are not team players. They’re fine with republicans winning a general election if a progressive wins a primary. Crockett is not an anomaly this is how they actually feel.

The results in DC's mayoral race, assuming they hold up, are a rejection of the so-called "green team," the loose network of developers and operatives that formed a generation ago under former Mayor Adrian Fenty and was inherited by Bowser.
This is in reference to a picture shared by the chairman of @Janeese4DC’s campaign that showed someone in a D.C. government vehicle delivering tables to @kenyanmcduffie volunteers outside a polling place.

@melissadderosa Melissa seems to be of the opinion that it’s wrong to run contested primaries against Democrats … but that it’s perfectly cool to run a contested general election against a Democratic nominee
This is the most striking graph of the entire race. Platner didn't win as a left candidate as much as he transcended ideological divides entirely. He won his race in a rout off of moderates and libs while the Bernie-endorsed candidate for Maine Governor came in third place.
Regarding the Maine Senate race, there are some Democrats who may not like Platner, but he is the nominee and if you end up saying you support Susan Collins over him, you’re not a Democrat. I don’t care what bullshit you have to say and you also are probably listening to the arguments the right wing has made about how people are looking the other way with Graham Platner. You know the same party that supports Donald Trump the guy they always look the other way for.
