I enjoy making props so much I sometimes consider taking prop commissions. But then I remember that very few people will pay what a handmade custom prop is worth. 😅 Especially with 3D printing becoming more accessible/affordable. So… guess I’ll just keep making them for myself.
annoyed with the taxonomy of "additive" vs "subtractive" manufacturing since it's usually presented as "3d-printing" vs "traditional" when there's lots of traditional techniques that are additive like gluing or welding
