@petergyang@mercury this is interesting; migrating from an LLC to S corp has been kind of a major pain. Q books jacked it all up and it's really unclear what the rules are on how i need to pay myself etc .
can mercury help with all of this
this @marclou / @beehiiv spat got me thinking...
beehiiv should have an basic "email only" plan.
no podcast.
no community.
no fancy website builder.
no digital products.
just email. lots of people just want to send email. that part seems clear now.
FYI this isn't an anti beehiiv post, i've been a subscriber since the beginning.
just an observation; and a plan i would love as a customer.

Today is the first time a friend living in a small town in Austria with a regular software job in a regular traditional company finally got fully AI-pilled
He's in the group chat:
"It's crazy, everything takes me only 5 seconds now"
"This is the future guys"
"I don't care what he does as long as he's doing the work"
"My employer yesterday said we our CMS renews soon for a $10K/year license, so we'll cancel it and vibe code our own dashboard now lol"
"Being a coder in 2027 will only be about taste"
"Code is over"
Obviously on X all of us have already been using AI to code for years now and I haven't read code for over a year myself, but this is the first time I hear someone working not in a startup but a regular software job in a small town in Europe starts to say this kind of stuff
So maybe a signal AI coding has really reached mainstream? I thought it already did but apparently it didn't!
Attached a random location but kind of like his town (he asked to stay anon)
