In response to the 2 March escalation, partners supported by the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund are delivering life-saving support, including food, water, shelter, health care and protection services. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, critical support is reaching people in need.
Lebanon situation remains fragile. While returns continue from within shelters and other accommodation, around 50,000 people are still in shelters. Risks persist due to unexploded ordnance, with incidents resulted in one fatality and one injury.

Ceasefire announcements have yet to translate into improved safety or sustained returns. Ongoing insecurity, destruction of homes and infrastructure, and the presence of unexploded ordnance continue to prevent safe and sustainable returns.
