Ayat Noor, 5, was missing for 16 days before her body was found in a well in Haripur, brutally raped and murdered.

Aizal, 18 months old, was raped and murdered in Karachi. Two children. Weeks apart. Both failed by the State and society.

Pakistan is a heavily regulated country with the Zainab Alert Act and survivor focused anti-rape legislation with life imprisonment and the death penalty for gang rape. The gaps in enforcement of cases that don’t move quickly, forensics that are delayed for months, prosecutions that produce weak conviction.

And beneath a weak legal system sits something in how we raise our boys the lack of clear boundaries, the entitlement of women as property, the impunity modeled by the men around them is producing this. No legislation reaches that. It has to be named, taught, and confronted at home, in schools, everywhere a boy learns what he can get away with.

We cannot keep mourning one child at a time and calling it a system.

اپنے ہی گھر میں، اپنے ہی لوگوں کے ہاتھوںقتل ۔

حنا جاوید ,شادی کے نو ماہ بعد، راولپنڈی میں اپنے گھر کے باتھ روم میں مردہ پائی گئیں۔ ہاتھ بندھے ہوئے، گلے میں تار۔ ایف آئی آر میں شوہر اور گھریلو ملازم نامزد.

حنا ظریف , جبری شادی سے تنگ آ کر خلع لیا۔ 13 اگست 2026 کو والد نے تحریری حلف دیا کہ اسے نقصان نہیں پہنچایا جائے گا۔ اسی دن، گھر پہنچنے کے چند گھنٹوں بعد، خاندان نے اسے قتل کر دیا۔

کبھی غیرت کے نام پر قتل، تو کبھی زیادتی کے بعد لاش ملتی ہے۔

یہ کسی ایک کی کہانی نہیں، یہ ہم سب کی کہانی ہے۔

ساحل کی 2026 رپورٹ کے مطابق، جنوری تا جون ملک بھر میں 3,172 صنفی تشدد کے کیسز رپورٹ ہوئے، جن میں 644 قتل شامل اور 54 فیصد واقعات عورت کے اپنے گھر میں پیش آئے۔

خاموش رہنا مجرمانہ غفلت ہے۔ بولیں۔ سوال کریں۔ انصاف مانگیں۔

A psychopath and pathological liar . The signs were always clear. This is Faisal Asghar Imam, murderer of innocent Hina Javed.

Many Women and girls across Pakistan are living in their homes with the very people who plan their murders in a premeditated manner and in the most brutal ways.

The women of Pakistan deserve better. Our lives cannot be treated with such utter disdain. A new headline . A brutal murder every day by those who were supposedly meant to be the patriarchal guardians.

The State must do better.

Raise your voice for Hina Javed and Hina Zareef and countless others.

حنا جاوید قتل کیس میں نیا اور حیران کُن انکشاف، مرکزی ملزم فیصل اصغر مختلف یونیورسٹیوں میں کارپوریٹ کمیونیکیشن پڑھاتا رہا، لیکچرز کے دوران شوہروں کے ہاتھوں بیویوں کے قتل کی مثالیں دیتا رہا، یوٹیوب چینل سے لیکچرز کی مختلف ویڈیوز سامنے آگئیں، ویڈیو میں فیصل اصغر ایک طالبہ سے سوال پوچھتا ہے کہ شوہر بیوی کو گولی مار دے تو اِس کی کیا وجہ ہوسکتی ہے؟، طالبہ نے کہا کہ ایسا شوہر بہت بُرا آدمی ہوگا، فیصل اصغر نے دوبارہ سوال کیا کہ اگر بیوی کا افیئر ہو اور دولت کیلئے شوہر کو مارنا چاہے تو؟، طالبہ نے جواب دیا کہ ایسا ضروری تو نہیں کہ بیوی شوہر کو قتل کرنا چاہتی ہو۔۔!!

The details of Hina Javed’s murder are horrifying.

In Noor Mukadam’s case, one SC judge appallingly said the crime was a consequence of “living relationships”. Hina was brutally killed in her own marital home, less than a year after getting married. No adherence to traditional norms, marriage, or supposed “moral codes" protects women from violence.

The problem is not women’s choices, but a society that keeps justifying violence rather than confronting it.

We must stop asking what the victim could have done differently. This is a time to demand accountability.

These two images depict the stark reality of femicide in Pakistan, which has now become a national emergency.

Hina Zareef , murdered by her own father under the false pretext of “honour,” with involvement of her family, after she refused to remain in a marriage that she had not consented to. Her father had given assurances on a stamp paper that he would not harm her prior to taking her back home.

Hina Javed another young woman, murdered by her husband , an Ex Nust University Professor just 10 months into their marriage. She had suffered severe torture, was beaten, and tied up in the bathroom. Her in-laws, suspected as accomplices, remain free.

Home is not a safe place for many women and girls in this country.

These grave crimes continue with impunity. Every day, another murder, rape, assault, or kidnapping of a woman makes headlines. yet governments across Pakistan remain without any strategy or pre-emptive action to end this.

This is a national emergency, and the state’s continued inaction is unacceptable.

Please raise your voice for these two young women, and for the countless others whose lives have been ended with such brutality.

Our sister Hina Javed was brutally murdered by her husband and in-laws two days ago. The father in law is still roaming around and has not been put under arrest.

If a convict can go to London for medical check-up a prisoner or convict can also go to a private hospital. Had the government shifted the former premier premier Imran Khan to a private hospital in accorance to the SC order it would have defused political tension.
