Canadian music has been largely influenced by the USA and Europe in the last 20 years and most of the music isn't a depiction of our Canadian culture. I don't believe it should be necessary because the most Canadain thing about Canadain music is the backdrop in the video.#mus2011

I agree with Wald because live music isn't just about the music. The environment, atmosphere and $7 beers are part of the experience. But, the quality of live music is different from the recordings with sounds that can't be recreated during a live performance. #mus2011

I don't believe the answer to be black and white. While "Schlock Rock" lacks the originality, creativity, and emotion, its appeal to teens started the movement to musical equality. Though they stole the music, the energy wasn't the same and this made people discuss. #Mus2011

Headphones are the best and worst advancement of the 21-century. They allow people to isolate themselves, making music an individual experience, disconnected from reality. People can now listen to music without having to explain their connection to the lyrics/message #MUS2011

These patterns are passed as actual lifestyles and Skylar said, many die from an overdose and others are the victims of abuse bragged about in the music. The music industry still mass produces music leaving listeners in the passenger seat, only able to react and not act. #MUS2011
