Artists: When you enter your studio you don a new set of clothes, metaphorically. You take off your everyday clothes and put on royal garments and robes suitable for stepping into an ancient court that allows you to commune with angels, ancestors, other artists, and yourself.
✨ Last chance ✨ to see 'Every Tangle Of Thread And Rope' by #MagdalenaAbakanowicz, an exploration of the artist's radical woven sculptures that hang from the gallery space of the Blavatnik Building at #TateModern. Exhibition closes 21 May! ❤️🧶 ➡️ https://t.co/OecgKbnOvr
Rock. Rock. Rock. Rock. Rock. Rock. METEORITE!
It's not uncommon to find meteorites on Mars - in fact, I've done it a few times! (see 🧵) But a change in scenery's always nice.
This one's about a foot wide and made of iron-nickel. We're calling it "Cacao."
@natasha_pulley absolutely loved your class @guardian yesterday, specifically the exercises, how fun they were, and how insightful and inspirational you are. And adored your Anglo-Saxon poem reading. Would love to take more classes with you. How?
@natasha_pulley @guardian I'd love to take a class with you with exercises every week :). Also, have you considered recording you speaking The Wanderer and making that available? It was a wonderful reading, as though you're actually channelling a real person from the 10th century. Magical.
