Mrs T famously said (to justify Griffiths (Sainsbury) report introduction) that if Florence Nightingale were alive she would be searching for the people in charge.
Well 43 yrs later Florence would still be searching!

He’s been great & has trained Jenson M up well but he’s slowing down just as we need to speed up the midfield.

@sarah_xxxvi @SandyofSuffolk You’re not the 1st generation to work 2 (or 3 jobs). I was doing that through the 80s as an NHS Charge Nurse (with overtime) also Agency work + an office job. We lived with a mortgage rate above 10% (or higher) for a decade

It was a novelty rather than a phenomenon, they started TV ads to boost business in the late 70s & didn’t hit their 400th outlet till 1991. It was a slow burn!
