BREAKING 🚨 #DoctorWho has been cancelled for now by the BBC, with a decision to put the show out to tender. The announced Christmas special will no longer go ahead.

Russell T. Davies has also confirmed his departure from the show.

Doctor Who remains an important part of the BBC and this tender underpins the BBC’s continued commitment to Doctor Who ensuring audiences will enjoy the show for years to come.

After careful consideration, the BBC, Russell T Davies and Bad Wolf have collectively decided not to go ahead with the previously announced Doctor Who Christmas episode. This decision was not taken lightly, and we know it will be disappointing for fans, but in order to set the show up for future series, it was decided that rather than bridge the gap with a one off special, we are choosing to push forward to invest in the long-term future of the show which ensures that when the TARDIS lands once more, it does so in all its glory.

So, I'm going to drop the mask for a bit, and post this as a public statement on the FeebleMind and Skyenet situation. Some people are already aware that I was banned from Skyenet, but I chose to keep quiet about it, partly for my own protection, but mostly because I didn't want to drag down the community with this.

I still feel that way, but given some of the aftermath and some of my interactions and observations since then, I feel the need to say something. First, my actions are my own and I won't be justifying them or denying them. I have no interest in highschool drama, we are adults, and we should act like it. That's not directed at someone specific, that's to EVERYONE involved.

Second, the ONLY person that I have an unreconcilable problem with is Feeble. @InfinityReign My message to you is this, I'm not your fucking lackey, and thanks for wasting the effort I put in to try and let you save face. You should be ashamed of your behavior, and you need to get help.

Third, I have been taking a step back from a lot of communities because of all of this. Part of that is, even now, I'm not sure who to trust. With that in mind, I am not laying blame at anyone's feet. Instead, I would like to thank the people that stuck by my side, even after my unjustified ban from the Skyenet Discord. But, no one has supported me more, or more openly than Vesper @VesperB_VT, and she deserves a thousand times the support she gets.

Finally, I'm sure there's a lot of you that won't care and will still keep ghosting me, but my ban from Skyenet was fueled by a complete falsehood. I've done nothing but support this community since day 1, and while attempting to let Feeble save face from his own crash out, I was faced with absolute vitriol and confessions of misconduct. Then, when approached publicly, I vented my frustration in private to protect the community from his behavior. This was used as the justification for my ban from Skyenet. Further than that, the accusation is that I was a drama starter, but attached are screenshots to prove the exact opposite.
