Why India Is Getting Isolated in the Region 🌐🇮🇳

While India boasts about being a regional leader, reality tells a different story, India is slowly but surely isolating itself in South Asia, and here’s why:

🔴 Arrogance over Diplomacy
Instead of partnership, India has chosen hegemonic behavior, bullying neighbors like Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and even Bangladesh. Its refusal to respect borders, water rights, and trade commitments has backfired.

🔴 SAARC Sabotaged
India destroyed regional unity by blocking SAARC, simply because it couldn’t coexist with Pakistan. In doing so, it paralyzed South Asia’s economic integration and China filled the vacuum.

🔴 Hindutva Over Harmony
From mob lynchings of Muslims to anti-minority policies, India’s domestic extremism is damaging its soft power. Neighbors now see India not as a democracy, but as a Hindu nationalist state exporting intolerance.

🔴 Support for Terror Proxies
RAW’s funding of TTP, BLA, and anti-Pakistan cells in Afghanistan has alarmed the region. India’s fingerprints on terrorism are pushing allies away and exposing its double game.

🔴 Afghanistan Misadventure
India bet on anti-Taliban factions and lost all influence in Afghanistan. Now, even Kabul doesn’t trust Delhi.

🔴 Growing China-Pakistan Influence
While India picks fights, Pakistan builds CPEC, strengthens ties with Iran, Turkey, GCC, and Central Asia. China’s Belt and Road is linking the region, and India is left on the sidelines, sulking.

🔴 Modi’s Ego = India’s Isolation
From boycotting OBOR to clashing with China and snubbing multilateral forums, Modi’s ultra-nationalism has isolated India diplomatically.
