Mr. President @officialABAT , I don’t know who is advising you, but let me bring something to your attention: ordinary Nigerians do not care about the sophistication of your reforms when those reforms continue to make their daily lives unbearable.

Nigerians cannot afford cooking gas. The price of PMS remains a burden. The naira has massively depreciated since you assumed office. Insecurity is ravaging the country, and people can no longer travel freely from one part of Nigeria to another without fear. You promised Nigerians reliable electricity, yet we have lost count of the number of times the national grid has collapsed under your administration. There is no meaningful improvement.

Instead of fixing the electricity crisis affecting millions of Nigerians, your government rushed to install solar panels at the Aso Villa while ordinary Nigerians remain trapped in perpetual darkness. What exactly are the priorities of this administration?

No new federal hospital of significant national impact has been commissioned.

No major new manufacturing revolution has emerged under your watch.

The refineries you promised Nigerians would be revived remain largely incapable of meeting the expectations you created.

You removed fuel subsidy with the justification that the savings would be redirected toward improving the lives of Nigerians. Yet, after all these sacrifices, Nigerians are still experiencing worsening conditions across virtually every sector. At what point will Nigerians begin to see the promised dividends?

What is even more disturbing is the apparent unwillingness of your administration to provide Nigerians with complete and transparent answers. I cannot understand why a president should be surrounded by so many questions about his personal history and educational background. Nigerians deserve clarity, transparency and verifiable information—not evasiveness, contradictions and endless controversies.

Mr. President, Nigerians are not asking for miracles. We are asking for accountability. We are asking for honesty. We are asking for competent leadership.

Tell Nigerians the truth about the state of the nation. Explain where the sacrifices we have been making are taking us. Tell us what has been achieved, what has failed, and what your administration intends to do differently.

You cannot continue asking Nigerians to endure hardship indefinitely while your government keeps telling them that everything is part of a reform process.

Enough is enough.

I genuinely wonder what exactly you are campaigning for in 2027 when millions of Nigerians are struggling under the weight of your administration’s policies. If your government cannot turn things around and restore hope to Nigerians, then the honourable thing to do would be to resign and spare the country another four years of disappointment.

Otherwise, go before Nigerians in 2027 and let the people decide.

The people are watching. The people are hurting. And ultimately, the people will have their say.
