Today I'm going to try being a "yes" parent. I am so, so sick of fighting all the time with schoolwork during this pandemic, that I'm going to try something new (within reason...).

Also, yesterday marks an entire year since my kids' school shut down.

@Triathleteby40 The texture to me is more like ham than bacon when uncooked. I wrap the apple slice or date in it, then eat. If you can't handle the texture, you can heat it really quickly in a pan.

I'm introducing the concept of a book club to my 9yo daughter. We pick a book, read it on our own, then chat over coffee (hot chocolate) about the book. RN, we are obsessed with the book series The Unicorn Chronicles. But, @brucecoville, what happened to Belle in The Last Hunt?
