The morning after the Hancock County GOP meeting, @SOSDiegoMorales is sending out mass texts.
Good morning Delegates,
When you become a fierce leader on election security, your state rises to become a Top 10 national leader in election integrity, you increase the punishment for illegal voting, and you fight to redraw congressional maps to counter what democrats did in California, you become a target not only of the left, but of establishment Republicans as well.
That is exactly why Democrats and political opportunists within our own party have become desperate to stop our progress. Let me be clear: WE WILL NOT ALLOW IT.
It will take EXPERIENCE, RESULTS AND RESOURCES to ensure victory this November - There's no time for on the job training - we need someone who will fight the radical left and never back down - I have the experience, we've gotten incredible results and my campaign has raised MILLIONS of dollars to defeat the Democrats in November.
As your Secretary of State, we passed Indiana's first proof of citizenship law, partnered with the Trump administration on citizenship verification, secured our mail-in ballot process, and fought for transparent campaign finance.
I have also been a strong vocal proponent of CLOSED PRIMARIES and have encouraged our General Assembly to adopt this policy. Unfortunately, it is being held up by officials like Rod Bray who also opposed the redistricting of our Congressional maps that President Trump, myself and all of us supported. While many of the RINO establishment choose to play politics, I choose to do what's right for the people of Indiana, always!
I will continue to FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT to keep Indiana a national leader in election integrity. No amount of smears, personal attacks, threats, or fake news from either side will ever stop me from putting the people of Indiana first and defending their fundamental right to secure and legal elections for Hoosiers!
Your friend and Secretary of State,
Diego

WARNING ⛔️ ETHICS VIOLATION
Will @SOSDiegoMorales , the Indiana Courts, @AGToddRokita , or anyone enforce the law. This is getting old, where private citizens have to educate those responsible for Indiana governance.
Imagine a legislator, creating the law, is endorsed by a judge enforcing the law.
Indiana explicitly prohibits this endorsement in the Indiana Code of Judicial Conduct, Rule 4.1(A)(3) (adopted by the Indiana Supreme Court and effective since 2011):Except as permitted by law or by Rules 4.1(B), 4.1(C), 4.2, 4.3, and 4.4, a judge or a judicial candidate shall not: … (3) publicly endorse or oppose a candidate for any public office.
This applies to sitting judges. The rule also bars other partisan political activities, such as holding office in a political party, making speeches on behalf of one, or soliciting/using endorsements from political organizations.

This is not a criminal statute (there is no Indiana law that makes it a crime with fines or jail time). It is part of the enforceable Code of Judicial Conduct, which the Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications (JQC) oversees. Violations can result in public reprimand, suspension, or removal from office.
https://t.co/aIVZ4PkTIG
Limited ExceptionsJudicial candidates (people running for a judgeship): Under Rule 4.2, they may publicly endorse or contribute to other candidates who are on the same ballot in the same election cycle (but not outside that cycle). They also have more leeway to seek endorsements themselves.
https://t.co/iVzuyi4vFJ
Senior judges (part-time, temporary): The JQC has ruled they may publicly endorse candidates for public office, but they cannot use their judicial title, court resources, or appear in judicial robes when doing so.
https://t.co/8rDgcyxIcy
Retiring/full-time or continuing part-time judges: They remain fully bound by the prohibition until they fully leave the bench.
https://t.co/aIVZ4PkTIG
In short, if the person is a sitting Indiana judge (not a senior judge and not actively running for re-election as a judicial candidate), publicly endorsing any candidate for public office is not allowed.
The JQC has issued advisory opinions confirming these limits (e.g., Opinion #1-24 and #1-19).

@Indy_reporter_ Keep asking questions about the questionable state and local “boards.”
You will not be bored when you follow the money. Local boards that are not appointed according to their statutes- who is watching?

Marion County early voting is running at 2.1x the pace of the last two primaries. 1,219 ballots in the first 11 days vs. 571 in 2022 and 587 in 2024. And it's all from one location. Vote centers haven't even opened yet.

Imagine needing to be liked or accepted by a group of people so bad that your willing to villainize someone like Greg Ballard to try to save someone like Diego Morales. Politics just brings out the absolute worst in people.
Certain minds definitely benefit - more math minds perhaps(?) My 7th & 8th grade teacher wrote a 'book' on diagramming sentences titled "Slot Machine English" - every word must have a place and fit in its "slot". If there is no slot, you don't have a good sentence. Loved it.
The willingness of people who have no experience with a species of animals to support legislation that is harmful to animals baffles me. Thank you for this👇

This 👇assumes that the solar lease payments will be made on time and without hassle for the life of the lease. Not so fast…the developer sells and then payment delayed with no interest paid. Solar as currently promoted in Indiana is bad deal for landowner! No Go Solar!
