This family didn’t just play White Elephant… they ABSOLUTELY obliterated the rulebook 😂 The gift reveal had EVERYONE cracking up nonstop – absolute tears-from-laughing chaos! Definitely worth watching till the end… trust me. 😁
“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”
Romans 3:23-24
I am a huge fan of Allie and we agree on far more than we disagree, but I disagree with this take. A woman pregnant from sex out of wedlock, especially one who is single and may be most tempted in our culture to abort, needs encouragement that her baby is a gift. Other people’s positivity and excitement for that baby can be lifesaving. Congratulating her on her baby isn’t congratulating her on bad decisions, it’s congratulating her on a miraculous new life God Himself created.
I could tell multiple stories of women I know personally who were encouraged to choose life because of the positivity and excitement of the people closest to them.
Revealing their pregnancy was not the time for judgment or withholding a congratulations. It is a time for unconditional celebration.
I wrote a chapter in Fighting For Life about this - “Celebrate Life Unconditionally.”
I’m a board-certified OB-GYN currently practicing in Texas. I have been practicing for over 30 years and I have delivered over 5,000 babies.
Allow me to shed some light on the harmful lies coming from the pro-abortion lobby.

The championship matchup is set! Friendship bracelets, long pond, koi fish guitars, and a big bell with XIII are the images flashing in our head as we face an impossible choice.

@mark_joubert My heart is shocked and hurting for yours. And while our experiences are different I do know the heaviness of empty arms of saying goodbye to a son. Perhaps when you are ready you will consider reaching out to @MollyBearsOrg for a physical source of comfort.
Today is #NationalBereavedParentsDay. Surely that’s worth a stop-scrolling-and-read-this-post moment? Please? 💫
Talking about child loss is a completely normal daily occurrence in our family. Talking to a brother that is not there. Including a son in day to day life that isn’t seen. Carrying his ashes everywhere I go, in jewellery, wearing his handprint around my neck, never to be taken off.
But when I step outside my norm, I realise how un-normal these conversations and things can be seen as.
But why? Children die. Sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews. Mothers, fathers. Grown up children. Children die everyday. And left behind are broken parents, bereft families, unsupported families, expected to adapt and bounce back.
This is NOT possible.
Child loss forever changes every single part of your life. Your thoughts, feelings, relationships. Your friendships, your work, your commitments. Your mental and physical health. Child loss causes estrangements. New and unexpected friendships/relationships. It evokes feelings that you didn’t know existed and would never have thought possible. It makes you question your very existence, and that of others. Every ounce of your being is tested. You are metaphorically broken into a million pieces and will never be put back together in the same way again. But you will go back together…in some way, at some point. It won’t be pretty and you won’t be how you were before. But this isn’t a bad thing…
Today, I want bereaved families to know that they’re not alone. To those that talk about it, that raise awareness, that fundraise/commemorate their children in their own way - I hope this brings comfort and peace.
To those that find it too challenging to openly talk, please know that you are not alone. Your feelings, your intrusive thoughts, your bitterness, anger, angst, sadness, relief. Your trauma and your existential grief. I relate. I empathise. I know. I really, really know. I’m there. Always.
Please, if you do one thing today to acknowledge National Bereaved Parent’s Day, give this a #share or #retweet. #repostit. If just one bereaved family can be offered a tiny amount of solidarity, hearing from another, then my post made a difference. People reaching out to me at my darkest time made more of a difference than they’ll ever know.
Thank you.

Of course we’re listening to #TSTTPD on repeat. Gotta make sure those beats are memorized to practice Hands-Only CPR.
If you see a teen or adult collapse, call 911 & push hard & fast in the center of the chest to the beat of “Clara Bow” by @taylorswift13. #NationofLifesavers
In a very moving address to the court, 69-year-old pro-life activist John Hinshaw, sentenced to 21 months in federal prison and who had held a career serving the homeless, addicted & disabled, expressed his sentiments:
He opened by explaining his wife's maternal love:
“My wife knows that she carries our children from their beginning through eternity. But she knows that I cannot share this same bond because I am a man. There’s a special maternal bond between child and mother.”
“My granddaughter was born at 32 weeks gestation.”
He then referenced the five infants found butchered outside Cesare Santangelo’s DC abortion clinic:
“How is it that my granddaughter is a treasure, and the others are trash? There is a reason why today’s gospel reading is to lay down one’s life for his friends. This is not a coincidence.”
“I am sorry that I have failed in my vocation as a father to protect children. I am sorry to this court that it has failed in its vocation to protect its nation's children.
I am sorry to the bereaved mothers who have lost their children to abortion. We are a nation of bereaved mothers.
I am sorry to this generation that it has lost a third of its own to abortion. I am sorry that it’s lost its members to pornography.
I stand convicted, though guiltless. I take on the guilt of this judge. Accept my love for you, judge, as expiation for your guilt.”
sure, robin is not my fav taylor swift song but in the context of an album where she’s finally lifting the lid on how fame at such a young age - which has since reached monumental “unmanageable” levels - has affected her and changed her, this is such a harrowingly sad way to end the record.
she is a story teller, so listen to the story. imagine her at long pond, having just finished the album and enjoying a glass of wine with a co-creator who has listened to her scream about asylums and hospitals and alcoholism and suicide and how she learned as a kid that she could just escape the chaos to the solitude of her own mind for a tiny bit of reprieve, but she would have to be completely alone. while they watch this little boy rip roar around the yard with a freedom she likely hasn’t felt since she was exactly his age.
robin doesn’t know she’s THE taylor swift, he’s probably one of the only people on the planet who treats her exactly like he treats everyone else. her fame, her reputation, her name, who she has or hasn’t loved - literally none of that is on his radar. so she’s singing to him about slowing down the time so he never has to experience the sorrow and hardness of the world.
she painted us a picture of a cruel reality for 2hrs straight and then right at the end leaves it off with - and i’ll hide that from you, we all will, for as long as we can. you won’t hate it here as quickly as i did.
AND PEOPLE ARE CLOWNING HER FOR THAT!!!! 😭😭😭
