Compositing is often just targeted color grading or lighting, pointed at specific VFX layers rather than the whole frame.
But where a grade might be one or two passes, we're doing dozens of tiny adjustments.
Many filmmakers aren't even aware this level of process exists. They think compositing is slapping on film grain or a simple greenscreen key - this is not the case.
These micro aesthetic descisions are the reason you need compositing whether you're doing full CG shots, or live action films (if you want it to look good).
"ngapain bersuara, pasti kita gagal"
"ngapain diusahakan, pasti gak dapet"
terus aja
This was 10 years ago so I'm a bit hazy on details now, but there were a few shots in this sequence that required a TB of RAM for water sims, and it was really late in production, so our solution was to cannibalize RAM from multiple machines and build some 1 TB RAM servers.
Orang ada yg berpikir iron man snap itu sebuah penyelesaian gampang.
Tapi yg ngikutin semua pemunculan Iron Man sejak film pertama tau bahwa untuk sampai ke nano tech, ada berbagai macam kegagalan yg harus terjadi dari hal kecil kayak diselipin Ant Man sampai hal besar kayak Rhodey cacat permanen.

How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies is a reminder that time is the only currency we can’t earn back. Truly one of the most soul-stirring films of this decade.
