I'm getting a Costco membership even though I don't need one. My friend had Stage 4 cancer. Costco kept her employed for 2 years after her diagnosis manageable shifts, just so she'd keep her health benefits, which were excellent. She passed away recently. Costco is now covering a full year of COBRA premiums for her 3 sons.

Costco retained DEI under pressure in 2025 with 98% of shareholders backing them, and offers starting wages at $20/hr. Pulling all Callaway? Just icing on the cake.

@violet_octopi I broke my wrist and my mom refused to take me to a DR. 3 wks later she threw a 10lbs bag of potatoes on it to “prove” I was lying. I cried so hard she finally took me. Break was old so they couldn’t set it so my hand just sits about a 1/4 inch off where it should be.
