Exciting progress in our EAF journey! We installed the first of our two 570-ton Danieli cranes. Once the EAF is commissioned, these cranes will move scrap into the furnaces that will be recycled into steel. Follow our #AlgomaEAF project for more updates!

Another #AlgomaEAF milestone achieved with the last crane girder installation—officially connecting our EAF building. Each girder is 100ft long, 16ft deep & weighs 120 tons. Final touches are underway as we install the last few roof trusses. Thank you to our team & partners!
