Representing Prime Cabinet Secretary & Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, H.E Hon. Dr. @MusaliaMudavadi, @Diaspora_KE PS @roselinenjogu today presided over the International Migrants’ Day at the University of Nairobi, themed: “Engaging the youth for a better tomorrow”.

The PS noted the invaluable partnership with @IOM_Kenya and other key stakeholders in the labour migration space that has resulted to a positive impact in the response to the needs of migrants, potential migrants and returnees.

“The youth are our future. As a country, we have an ever-increasing youthful population, that is well trained, highly skilled and innovative, full of energy who are eager to pursue opportunities beyond our borders. As a result, we have developed the Global Labour Market Strategy that targets to increase the number of Kenyans joining the International Labour market.” PS Njogu said.

The PS was joined by Dr. Stephen Jackson, United Nations Resident Coordinator, Ms. Dimanche Sharon, Chief of Mission IOM Kenya and Prof. Julius Ogeng’o, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs as well as the Academia, Private Sector and Development Partners.
