“How men and women think about God—or don’t think about God—has a great deal to do with how they envision a just society and how they determine the appropriate means by which to build that society.” G. Weigel This summarizes well the new book I co-authored.
@TerriGreenUSA I find it curious that he completely overlooks Roman’s 1:18-27, where God “shouts” His abhorrence of homosexuality, lesbiansim, after saying that God whispers regarding sexual sin.
Thanks for the clarity on this.

If identity is a God-sized task (and it is), then a self-constructed sexual identity is inherently reductionist and suspect at its very foundations.
In all my years of pastoring, I have learned this lesson: a person’s spiritual maturity is not truly visible until they DON’T get their way. Then you see the person.

@Marshall23szn No, it’s not paying Underwood a particular amount of money. It’s the general monetization of all sports that supplant the main reason that kids should go to college — to get an education to live life well.
@radiobobkansas@DavidAFrench@JReinerMD Same here. I showed the scene every semester in my International Relations college course when dealing with human rights, the UN, foreign policy, and “what should drive the national interest.” Sobering stuff, yet important material for kids to consider.
